Hunter Safety Group Appointed Health, Safety, and Environmental Managers for Facebook's Cutting-Edge Data Centre Project in Odense.

Appointed as Health, Safety and Environmental Managers on an exciting new data centre project for Facebook, through ASK Romein.

The 18 month long project in Odense, resulted in one of the most advanced, energy-efficient data centres in the world, consisting of two large data centre buildings, a building for administration and logistics, as well as several others for technical facilities. 

This project encompassed a number of roles including supporting the management team with all health, safety and environmental activities as well as:

• Implementing site safety standards and environmental management system
• Promoting a health and safety culture, alongside expert knowledge
• Accurate accident reporting
• Co-ordinating and communicating site activities, and creating a subsequent plan moving forward
• Completing a yellow jacket system
• Attending regular health and safety meetings
• Assisting ASK Romein in acheiving safety awards

Hunter Safety Solutions also provided a Quantity Surveyor to assist at another Facebook site in Dublin. Roles included cost analysis and forecasting, project progress reporting, estimating and valuations.
