Hunters Chosen Charity 2026
We’re proud to announce that our chosen charity for 2026 is Maggie’s, an incredible organisation that provides free, expert support to people living with cancer and their families.
Throughout the year, we’ll be raising funds for Maggie’s through a variety of events and activities, bringing our team and community together to support a cause that makes a real difference. Every penny raised will help Maggie’s continue to offer practical, emotional and social support to those who need it most.
We’re excited to get started and can’t wait to share more details about our fundraising events as the year goes on.
About Maggie’s – What They Do
Maggie’s is a UK charity that offers free expert support to anyone affected by cancer — whether you’re living with a diagnosis, are in treatment, are a survivor, or are supporting a loved one. Maggie’s doesn’t provide medical treatment, but it does something equally powerful: it helps people live well with cancer, emotionally, practically and socially.
At Maggie’s centres, which are located alongside major NHS cancer hospitals across the UK, people can simply walk in without an appointment or referral. Every visitor is welcomed into a warm, calm, and uplifting space free of charge.
Here’s the support Maggie’s offers:

Expert emotional and psychological support from trained psychologists and cancer support specialists to help people cope with the impact of diagnosis and treatment.

Practical advice and guidance, including benefits advice to help with financial worries and referrals for specialist services.

Workshops, courses and group sessions — from stress management and wellbeing activities to information sessions about treatment and life after cancer.

Community and connection, so people don’t feel alone — meeting others going through similar experiences can be incredibly supportive.

Online support, for people who can’t easily make it to a centre in person.
Because of its focus on physical spaces that feel like a home, and on supporting people as whole individuals—not just patients—Maggie’s is widely recognised for making a genuine difference in people’s lives.
